The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait presented copies of his credentials

On December 1, 2025, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov met with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait to Turkmenistan (with residence in Ankara) Abdulaziz Ahmad Al-Adwani. At the beginning of the meeting, the Ambassador presented copies of his credentials.

Congratulating the Ambassador on his appointment to this responsible post, the Turkmen side expressed its readiness to provide the diplomat with comprehensive assistance and support in his activities aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation.

The sides discussed the current state and opportunities for expanding interstate relations in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres. The importance of regular contacts at the highest level in the development of Turkmen-Kuwaiti relations was noted.

It was emphasized that cooperation between Turkmenistan and the State of Kuwait is developing effectively within the framework of international structures. A commitment to continue supporting the sides' initiatives in multilateral platforms, primarily within the UN, was reaffirmed.

Special attention was paid to the participation of the Kuwaiti delegation in the International Forum dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust, International Neutrality Day, and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent Neutrality.

At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador expressed gratitude to the Turkmen side for its hospitality and assured that he would make every effort to further strengthen the friendly ties between Turkmenistan and the State of Kuwait.
