Telephone conversation between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the OSCE Secretary General

On November 19, 2025, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held a telephone conversation with the Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, Feridun Sinirlioglu.

During the conversation, the sides discussed priority areas of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the OSCE, noting the stable dynamics of interaction and the constructive nature of the partnership.

The interlocutors placed particular emphasis on the importance of coordinating efforts in the international arena and discussed a number of issues aimed at further strengthening peace, security, and sustainable development. They also noted the significant role of Turkmenistan's positive neutrality in achieving these goals at both the regional and global levels.

Special attention was paid to preparations for the International Forum on Peace and Trust, which will be held on December 12 of this year in Ashgabat.
